in true-to-brand fashion, my aim with this design was minimalism and integration of the brand’s logotype into a style that would be adaptable across a product line.
the selected texture/pattern was derived from a logo element. by reshaping and rotating leaves into a pattern and setting it in grayscale, the pattern could easily be used against all products across the brand, thus allowing the brand identity to be...how do you say...on 'fleek'. but truly, the idea was expandability for this brand, so a texture like this really helps establish consistency and brand identity across a product line while also leaving room for color-blocking to help identify and differentiate new products as they were manufactured. a few examples:
