bfr brands | packaging design
one of my favorite projects to date was creating this super modern and sleek packaging design for bfr brands, who have consistently held the ‘amazon’s choice’ badge since i worked with them late last year.
a few stipulations for this project: it needed to be sleek and it needed to showcase the product with photography so the product was easily communicated on a shelf and optimized for brick and mortar retail.
occlusion bands put the bloodflow in the best possible place to isolate muscle growth when working out; the product is functional and scientific, the brand is sleek and modernist.
here's a closer look at the packaging front and back. this is the project where i realized just how epic photography can be if it's paired with a thick white border to centralize and organize the composition. the feature based back panel design was a fun element too as it proposes just the right flare of sciencey/techy style set against sport.
another minute but extremely fun detail in this packaging was preparing for the left and right panel for print. essentially, we went with uv-spot printing where the backgrounds would print matte black, while the logo would print jet black glossy atop it.
